Does anyone tweet on wine?

by Bruce Hayes » Mon Jan 03, 2011 12:31 pm

Sort of expanding on Bob's question about wine blogs, I am interested to know if there are any good tweets out there on wine. I would suppose the 140 character restriction on tweets might not lend itself to WTNs, but yah never know.

I know that John Gilman has a Twitter account (haven't looked lately, I don't tweet, but know when he first started - he's not a concise guy- he'd do a TN over 3 tweets). Eric Asimov, Dan Posner, Lyle Fass, Robert Parker, Dr Vino all have twitter accounts (I've either heard them quoted, or seen links). If you go to a page you like, I think you can see who they are following.

Sure. I'm on Twitter. Lot's of wine people are. You're limited to 140, but you can hyperlink. It's actually a rich medium for wine. Lotta clutter though. What to get from it depends on who you follow and who follows you.
