Yes, but the tone was a little dramatic/sleazy for the NYT if you ask me.

As a denizen of the central part of the state, I have to remind myself, "Be careful what you wish for." Corbett seems serious about selling off the state stores, but the broader issue of state regulation of alcohol remains. If retail licenses are as restricted as liquor licenses for restaurants, we won't see the sort of competition that leads to wider selection and lower prices.
