WTN: 2006 Robinson Reserve Pinot Noir

by Howie Hart » Sat Dec 25, 2010 1:48 pm

Williamette Valley, OR. I picked this up at the winery during one of my visits to the area (thanks Linda). Opened last night with lasagna Christmas Eve dinner. Deep color (for a PN) with a slight hint of purple on the edges. Cherry, tobacco and a bit of plum. Medium long full finish with nice acid balance. Very enjoyable wine. I have a few more bottles of 2006 Oregon Williamette Valley PNs and I think I'll be holding the rest, as I could see this wine aging nicely for at least a few more years.
Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.
