Ruling California Wine - a political perspective

Here is a link to a political article about the California wine grape industry - I think it good to get my perspective tweaked sometimes. http://counterpunch.com/parrish12242010.html

"Just seven global wine conglomerates purchase the vast majority of wine grapes grown in the United States. The majority of these are grown in California. These companies produce 82 percent of all wine sold throughout the country." I think this must cover Gallo, but I'm kinda glad that the Gallo's were not where the author focused. The article did make me take a closer look at some of the Oregon wineries which focus on their Live and Salmon Safe certifications. All the best, Jim
