As easy as cakes: a dose of leftover Brana, Irouleguy, 'Ohitza', 2005 and a swelling of Domaine du Grand Tinel, Chat-du-pape, 'Heres', 2007. Damn excellent! The Brana added rusticity and authenticness, the Grand Tinel a dark savoury quality and stewy fruits. Leftovers make for strange bedfellows, but this time the enjoyment was mutual.
