Wednesday Chat

by James Roscoe » Wed Dec 01, 2010 7:06 pm

It is December First! What are your plans for the Holidays? What wines are you drinking? (I have a nice Poilly-Fuisy.) Come to chat and discuss these and other weighty matters. We get started around 9:30 PM for those of us on the east coast, 8:30 PM CDT and 7:30 PM MDT for those of you in Chicago or in fly over country. I guess that means 6:30 PM on the left coast. If my calculations are correct everyone in NZ needs to join us at 3:30 PM Thursday and at 1:30 AM on Thursday morning for those in Sydney and eastern Oz. It will be an ungodly 4:30 AM in Israel and Helsinki, 3:30 AM in Paris, and Berlin, and 2:30 AM in London. Of course it is all worth the sleep deprivation.

The fun begins HERE!!!!!
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

As I survived having my innards scoped today with no ill effects save for an intense dislike for porcelain and a prohibition on alcohol for 24 hours, I shall be along around the appointed time. Gotta find something to eat and watch Survivor first.

My wife insists on turning Wednesday into a party night. We have some friends dropping by for some sparkling Chenin. (Oh the pain of it all!) I may show up late if anyone is still there.
