Côtes de Castillon

A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

Dark red in the glass.

Cherry, floral, spicy on the nose.

Medium weight, tangy acidity, raspberry, cherry, earthy, tarry, drying, fairly juicy, floral, with some hardness toward the end.

Drying, tannic on the finish.

Not bad for the money.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).
