Midi
Jeanjean Languedoc
Bright yellow in the glass.
Lemony, creamy on the rather light nose.
Surprisingly weighty and full in the mouth, slightly creamy, lemon, grapefruit rind, tangy, clean, rich, with a bitter citrus streak.
Peppery, citrus peel with a bitter streak on the finish.
Certainly not an example of a "lip stinger" this grape is known for, but very nice and good QPR.
Screwcap closure.
Purchased at $12.95 (Canadian).
