WTN: La Joya Viognier Reserve 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Tue Nov 09, 2010 10:15 am

Colchagua Valley

Rather rich, deep yellow in the glass.

Peachy, spicy on the nose.

Medium weight, peach, orange, lemon, floral, peppery, tangy acidity, rich, honeyed, oily, full in the mouth, a mild bitter bite.

Mouthwatering, marmalade, with some bitterness on the finish.

An incredibly rich wine and good QPR. I believe I enjoyed this bottle more than a previous one earlier this summer.

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian).
