Dark purple in the glass.

Leather, earth and smoke on the tangy nose.

Medium weight, tangy, spicy, cherry, high acidity, tomato, blood pudding, rich.

Mouthwatering, tangy on the finish.

Quite impressive.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).

Tedeschi can do no wrong in my limited experience of Italian wine. I was at a domaine tasting late last year, which I wrote up here, and I was impressed. Their Amarone is quite exceptional Bruce.
