LATimes: Comiskey On Piedmont

by TomHill » Wed Nov 03, 2010 10:31 am

Very nicely done article by Patrick Comiskey in today's LATimes:
LATimes:PiedmontReds

by Patrick Comiskey, one of my most favorite of writers. He gives bif props to Freisa and Ruche, two of my favorite varieties from the area. He also rejects that characterization of Dolcetto as Piedmont's Beaujolais, something you often read in books by some "authorities". I can't recall a single Dolcetto that bore even the remotest resemblance to a good Beaujolias, like Bone-Jolly.
Anyway...another good read again from Patrick.
