Am familiar with QdC's still reds (excellent!) but never had their port. I trust that magnums of the 1997 at $42 is a can't-lose proposition, especially for large Christmas parties--right?

Should be x-mas party worthy. I'm not a huge fan of their Ports, but as you say that's can't lose territory.

If I were serving YOU, that would be correct. :wink: But this is the neighborhood Xmas party. Most of our folks don't drink aged wine, let alone aged vintage port.

I'd give them Taylors LBV - very decebt wine for the price.
