I did a quick glance at Huffington Post today and as I got to bottom of the main page I see "the most obnoxious words in wine writing"
To see if I qualified, I clicked, and was surprised to see it was written by Greg dal Piax, who used to be a reg on old WLDG

Really closer to the Drudge Report of the left, because it's more a content aggregator and bloghost than a news outlet.
I generally look at Huff, Drudge,Nat. Review, Salon, Atlantic, Google News, and NYT front pages.

Hilarious. Of course, since I know Greg, now I must ponder what he thinks I am. I think I'm a combination of idiot, "expert" (sans money), and Amateur, with flashes of gourmand, and occasional sparks of Nixon and stealth.

I actually try not to be the Nixon, at least at my own house I always say "I don't want to be a Nixon" when opening a good bottle for a big crowd (but let me make sure those who appreciate get first pour)

Being a NYer, I'd bet a fairly large sum of money I could name who Greg was picturing in his head when he thought of weasel.

Have you told this to Greg? You know all the wine bottles that Greg owns lean to the RIGHT BIG TIME.

yes, while I try to avoid the political discussions, Greg's (forceful) political opinions never struck me as Huff Post material.
I probably won't invite him to my Trotskyites and Trotanoy party.
