Hello all Beaujolais fans,
Is the Vieilles Vignes Morgon still bottled in a wax capsule? I picked up a bottle of the 2007 in Paris and there is no indication of it being V.V. or otherwise except for the back label that says: "notre cuvee vieilles vignes est issue des meilleurs raisins seigneuxment cueuillis a l main" which even my basic language skills in French inform me that the bottle contains a V.V. cuvee. Still, what gives?
And while I'm at it, does he have a Vieilles Vignes version of Brouilly? I bought a bottle of the 2007 that a totally different label than the 2008 plus the 2007 had a little wax seal and a warning on the back about storing under 14 degrees Celsius. I got the idea from other threads that the V.V. gets less sulphur so I thought that might be a clue.
