WTN: Teroldego Rotaliano Braide 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Thu Oct 28, 2010 8:34 am

Concilio
Alto Adige/Trentino

Decanted for about an hour.

Purple in the glass.

Spicy, light cherry-raspberry on the nose.

Light to medium weight, slight creamy, good acidity, spicy, cherry, raspberry, drying, good mouthfeel, floral, dusty.

A drying finish.

Rather shy and understated, but still quite enjoyable. My first experience with the Teroldego grape.

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian),

Come back for more!

I think Loire cabernet franc is a rough analogy. But of course it has its own character.

Good start, Bruce!

Now go out there and get a Teroldego Foradori. I think you'll like that one.
