Light yellow with a greenish tinge. Lots of alcohol initially. Citrussy nose. Crisp with lime and pineapple flavors. Very young and angular. Needs time to soften the hard edges. An hour of air softens it sufficiently and gives it some peach nuances. An hour and a half gives it a somewhat creamy texture. The finish is very long but has a slightly bitter element with a bit of grapefruit showing. Outstanding stuff that should repay extended cellaring.

Darn--the '03 Demi-Sec has been difficult to run down in the U.S. I know quite a few passed on the vintage, but I'd like to find some of these to bury in my cellar with the Bourg and Haut-Lieu Moelleux.
