Vinho Regional Alentejano
Herdade da Malhada

A blend of Chardonnay, Arinto, Antao Vaz and Roupeiro.

Rich golden yellow in the glass.

Honey, spicy, citrus fruits on the nose.

Medium weight, honeyed, spicy, pear, apricots, apple, a bitter streak, rich, good acidity, clean, thick.

Mouthwatering, citrus on the clean finish.

Purchased at $11.95 (Canadian) and a real steal at that price.

I love Portugese whites: interesting and exciting wines at good prices.
