WTN: Good bubbly

by Doug Surplus » Mon Oct 18, 2010 2:33 pm

My daughter competed in a dressage show this weekend and received scores high enough to get her USDF Bronze Medal. After getting home last night I popped this to celebrate

1999 Roederer Estate L'Hermitage Brut - Yeasty bread-dough nose, apples and lemon zest in the mouth. Rather substantial mouth feel and flavors. This is very enjoyable and did not last long. Had another bottle been in my cellar, it would have been consumed in short order.

Congratulations all around!
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
