Ch. Bellevue La Chapelle 2005 Cotes de Castillon

Warm year. 14 % abv on the label. Extracted plum fruit with pruney notes. Is this Bordeaux or Napa? Hard to tell
On the positive side, good acidity and nice tannic structure. If I am not looking at the wine with pre-expectations, I might rate this a B or so.

Is it incorrect to "expect' something from a region's wines. Stylist consistency or at least "typicite"?
