I'm curious to hear if anyone has tried the Domaine Dupeuble Beaujolais Nouveau? This is Kermit Lynch's label, and after reading his interview in this month's Sommelier Journal, I am intrigued. I love the idea of Beaujolais Nouveau as the celebration of the harvest, but sadly have never found one that I can tolerate (all we are plagued with in my area is Georges Duboeuf). In reading about the method this is produced by - being unstabalized, unsulphured, and unfiltered (because BN was never meant to age, so why bother with all those things?), I am really interesting in trying it, as it is supposed to be the true picture of what BN should be but rarely is.
I'm considering asking my local wine shop to order some in for the release, but wanting to hear anyone else's thoughts to see if it would be worth it.
Cheers!
