Maybe another riesling, this time from Petaluma. Hopefully Spain is the new Focus topic so maybe a Bierzo red as well..to get things going!

I think I'm going to bust into my Peay Estate Pinot Noir. There's a Rotgipfler from a producer I can't recall at the moment at one of the local wine shops that has me curious.

I've had a Vineyard 29 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) in the lineup for a couple weeks while I've been opening Riesling and a Torrontes. If I purchase a steak at the grocery I will pair the Cab with it. Meantime, Friday evening I am driving to Elliott's on Linden, Pinehurst for a tasting of tapas with wines from Tuscany. I also have two bottles of Stoller Pinot Noir (Dundee Hills, Oregon) that I picked up last weekend after a wine dinner tasting and I may open one of those. I see on their website that Stoller Winery is the first gold LEED-certified winery in the United States. LEED is an acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design as part a a "green" building rating system.

I am tempted to pick up another 2004 Chasse Spleen.

I have a 2000 Corison Napa Valley.

If my friends are up for dinner, I might even open the 2001 Tignanello I have in the lineup.

When do we all show up? Can I bring a salad?
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind

Definitely doing a Muscadet with peel and eat shrimp at some point this weekend. My Muscadet drinking has dropped way off this year.
