WTN: Flat Rock Unplugged Chardonnay 2009

by Bruce Hayes » Fri Sep 24, 2010 9:38 am

Flat Rock Cellars
VQA Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Peninsula

Bright yellow in the glass.

Pear, apple, spicy on the nose.

Medium weight, green apple, lemon, creamy, honeyed, tangy acidity, spicy, clean, refreshing.

Crisp apple on the mouthwatering finish.

Yet another winner from this great winery.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian) and a good value.

Another fan of Flat Rock wines here. I need to get up to Niagara and visit them again. What does 'Unplugged' refer to?

"Unplugged" is their non-oaked Chardonnay.
