Okanagan Valley
Dark purple, almost black, in the glass.
Spicy, chocolate, raspberry, pencil shavings on the nose.
Soft in the mouth, medium weight, spicy, chocolate, black cherry, rosted notes, quite rich, good acidity, with a rather sharp alcohol edge.
Gently spicy on the finish, with an alcohol burn.
A good wine but I found the alcohol presence rather annoying and distracting. What a shame.
