I managed to sample the `08 Brokenwood Semillon from Hunter Valley. An outfit that will normally deliver but this `08 (too limey and chalky) is not going far I think? Look for `07 or wait for the `09, according to Sarah Ahmed.
Does Lehmann have a track record for Semillon, Bruce?

Not sure Bob. I am not at all an authority on Semillon and am still trying to figure it out. Perhaps somone else on the board could answer your question.

We usually wait 5-7 on Australian Semillons. Others think longer.

Lehmann has a decent rep for Semillon, but Barossa Semillon generally doesn't age as well as Hunter Semillon. I personally would tend to drink the Lehmann at under 5 years of age, while a good Hunter Sem (e.g. Tyrrell's) can go for decades.
