Saw this mystery book reviewed in Fri's Pasatiempo of the SantaFe NewMexican. The review was was not particularly favorable..but the SFNewMexican is not noted for their high calibre of journalism.
To quote from the review: "If you hate self-styled wine advocate RobertParker, the founder of the WineAdvocate...and I mean really hate him..you'll love this first novel".
It then goes on to describe the principal character, RichardWilson, as a pseudo-RobertParker.
Susan brought this to my attention as authored by the son of a friend of hers; very wine knowledgeable and once a restraunt owner in Seattle.
The review sounds like this is a book AliceF***ing would heartily endorse.
Can find on Amazon w/ two favorable reviews, including one from PaulB:
Dead In THe Dregs
Since I don't hate RobertParker, I'll probably not waste my time reading. But others might enjoy it.
