WTN: 2009 Dom Saint Nabor Gris de Nabor

by Jenise » Wed Aug 18, 2010 12:37 pm

One of the most stunning roses I've had this summer, both in and out of the bottle. Very pale pearl pink in a bottle labeled with silver paint, this mixture of grenache, tempranillo and cinsault is a taut, racy, mouthful of flavor with light red fruit, rhubarb and a lot of spice. Just ordered six more bottles. $9.99 local price.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Sounds French, but I've never seen Tempranillo in a French. What is the AOC? Or maybe is it a VdP?

And apparently tempranillo has been in Southern France for centuries, although usually in blends. Like this one.
