Tried last night w/ my gnocchi:
1. luli Chard SantaLuciaHighlands (14.1%; www.BacchantWines.com) SantaRosa 2008: Light gold color; very attractive melony/honeydew/Chard very light toasty/oak/nutmeg slight herbal/spicy quite fragrant almost Reisling-like nose; tart ripe/honeydew melon/Chard quite spicy/nutmeg light herbal/earthy bright/zippy/clean lovely flavor; long bright/zippy/spicy/nutmeg ripe/melony/Chard light oak/toasty finish; an all-together lovely/bright great-drinking Chard. $21.00

1. This is a cooperative effort between JeffPisoni and SaraFloyd/SwirlWineBrokers. New label to me. Their WebSite has no content that I could find w/ my browser. Quite a nice Chard and should age well for 3-6 yrs.
