Rainy weather up here right now but with herb crusted ham I thought the 100% sparkling Cab Franc from Langlois (Loire). Also have a terrific Roussanne from CdR Trignon at hand!

I just scored some 06 Argyle Nuthouse Reserve at a backup-the-truck price of $27. I'm opening one to make sure I like it enough to go back with the truck. :D

A white in the lineup is a Viura from Castile. I haven't decided on the next red to open but may get salmon or a strip steak or t-bone and open a Williams Selyem Russian River Pinot Noir (2005 I believe.)

I plan to open a nice 2008 King Estate Pinot Gris. I think it will match with green chicken curry.

It turned out to be a 2007 Knapp Cayuga Lake Merlot. Mmmmmm good with tiny red potatos and green beans in beef stock, and sliced tomatoes with chopped basil on them.
