Fewer Australian wines being distributed in the US

I mentioned earlier in the Trader Joe thread that I was sorry to learn that Wynn's Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignons are no longer imported to the USA. I got to thinking about an Irvine Grand Merlot that was one of the best Merlots I've ever had and contacted the company to see who their importer is in the USA. I got a reply that they haven't had an importer to the US for two years. They said with the hard times in general and in the Australian wine industry, it does not look promising for that to change.
