WTN: Les Forts de Latour 1999

Very deep, practically black. On the nose. a little herbal at first then some graphite as it opens up. Bitter chocolate on the palate. Dusty. Lightish and rather sour. Cherry. Quite dry. Moderate finish. I don't see any improvement coming about from cellaring. Better to drink now. A below par performance.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.

Thanks, Jay.

When did you purchase this bottle, how was it stored from infancy, and how much did it cost? Just curious in case I contemplate moving to the Philippines. :)

This wasn't my bottle. It was brought by a guest to a dinner. The bottle was quite cold when it was presented so I'm guessing the storage was good. I have no idea where or when it was purchased.

Come on over!
