Coteaux du Languedoc-Pic-St-Loup

I just love reading "Pic St. Loup." The name makes me smile.

Very nice weeknight Southern French wine. Lacks the strong "garrigue" of some Rhones, but made up for it with pretty sweet strawberry and red plum fruit, a smooth and elegant mouth feel, and a pleasant lack of alcoholic heat. A slight bitter note on the finish was not a flaw but a nice feature, adding another nice note to the flavor profile. Good Acidity as well

Brian, I used to buy this estate's entry level cuvée "L'Arbouse", which was reliably delicious. La Grenadière is more up-market, some 50% dearer. You remind me to look out for this estate again.
