WTN: 2005 Fremark Abbey Napa Valley (Rutherford) Merlot

While showing a little too extraction fro my palate with some definite porty notes in the fruit, this dark colored Merlot also showed a core of refreshing acidity, some funky/savory notes on the nose, and a very delicious hint of mintyness on the finish.

We finished the bottle. 89/90 points.

"We finished the bottle" is always a good recommendation.
