This is from Bernier's Vineyard from Dry Creek. I had opened the last one couple of years ago. Had this yesterday evening with lamb grilled over coals. The nose is still wonderful. The tannins have softened giving the wine a almost Pinot like feel. The fruits (berries and cherries) are still abundant and the finish long. Drinking really well right now.

David only made the Bernier's for a couple of years. I had notes on the '03.
As my experience with srcewcapped wines increases, I'm liking them more and more. They do develop more slowly, but with (I think) greater uniformity.
