Help - Need Wine Store Recommendations in Richmond

by ChaimShraga » Sat Jul 10, 2010 8:11 am

Hi,

I have a business trip coming up and as Macarthur won't ship from DC to Virginia in summer, I'm kind of stuck. I can't seem to google any store in Richmond with anything resembling an online catalog and I won't have a lot of time to shop around. My interests are basically BBnRG (Bordeaux, Burgundy, north Rhone and Germany).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When and how long will you be in Richmond? I missed this note. I don't know Richmond. I know there is a very good store in Williamsburg and one up in Fredericksburg. Let me see what I can dig up.

Turns out I have another hop in Massachusets so I'll just do my shopping there. Thanks anyway.

Have a great trip. Richmond does seem to have some good stores. Your best bet for just everyday wines will be Total Wines. Huge store with the usual suspects. Great prices though. They get great deals as the largest chain on the east coast. If you can get in there and get a decent wine associate you might find a gem or two.
