2004 Meulenhof Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett (Mosel)
Following the customary waiting period of 5 years post release, it was time to open a bottle of this wine to see where it was going. Light, expressive fruit and stone elements are complimented by a touch of creaminess around the edges. There's more than a hint of sweetness, but it is balanced by crisp finishing acidity. This is quite classic in its style and evolution. Drink now and over the next 2-3 years.

If I had any, it would not last anywhere near 2-3 years. Meulenhof's wines are so hard to stop drinking.
