WTN: 2007 Maréchal Bourgogne Cuvée Gravel

2007 Catherine et Claude Maréchal Bourgogne Cuvée Gravel 13.0%
Don't like it when cru Bojos taste like generic Bourgognes but don't seem to mind generic Bourgognes tasting like cru Bojos. L'uomo è mobile. This has bright strawberry aromatics with just the right touch of stemminess, providing tears for the clown. Juicy, tart and acidic, not quite as hedonistic as the lovely 02 in its short-lived heyday, but a nose fest nevertheless. Tastes better with Gamaylan music in the background, or anything courtly.

I've always liked this bottling, not tried the 07 yet. I hope I don't think it reminds me of Gamay, I have Gamay for that. :)
