Father's Day Wine Chat and the day after B-day

by James Roscoe » Sun Jun 20, 2010 12:07 pm

It is Father's Day here in the US. Many Dads will be outside grilling or otherwise getting toasted, myself included. If you have time come to chat and talk about your favorite weekend wine! Maybe Howie the birthday boy will grace us with his presence. I will be out of the office so to speak. Here are the times when the fun gets started: at 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Saving Time; 3 p.m. Central Time; 2 p.m. Mountain Time; 1 p.m. Pacific Time; 8 p.m. GMT; 9 p.m. in the UK; 10 p.m. in Italy, France, Germany, and Sweden; 11 p.m. in Finland and Israel; 6 a.m. Monday in Sydney and environs; and 8 a.m. in New Zealand. I hope you all behave in my absence.

The fun starts HERE!!!!!
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend today. I'm going to an AWS Riesling tasting today at 3PM, followed by a combo B-day/Fathers Day cookout at my son Andy's, but Happy Fathers Day everyone.
Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.

Fathers' day took its toll. There were only three of us in chat tonight - Alex, Bob H. and myself. Missed many of the regulars but even though we were a mini-group, good discussions.

I too missed many of the Sunday regulars Daniel, Bit I must agree, even though were were three in total, the discussion was lively and interesting!
