This wine is a blend of two grapes I'd not yet encountered: Roupiero and Antao Vaz. All citrus -lemon and lime fruit, a little starfruit. Green pepper and slightly vegatal. It's not real impressive. Refreshing enough, but lacks character. To me, it's a lot like many boring central italian whites (don't get mad! I love Northern Italy and Falanghina and Greco from the south), good enough to drink, not good enough to buy again. I'd much rather drink Vinho Verde. I think I paid around 10-15 USD. Where can I get some Riesling 'round here?
Prost!
