Gentle quince and pear fruit with wooly and floral touches and a sense of restraint and elegance, there's a steely mineral and acid backbone beneath and this feels incredibly fresh, clear and precise - wonderful stuff.

Riesling is always good in this heat. Personally, I go for qba. Personally, that's about all I have!

Thanks for the note on the 08 Pinon, Salil. Just had my first exposure earlier this month with the 2007. I really liked it and the 2008 sounds like a continuation of a good thing.
