WTN: Beating the heat

2008 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Himmelreich Riesling Spätlese "Anrecht"
This is an awesome wine that's even more refreshing and vibrant in 90 degree weather. Flat out wow.

2008 François Pinon Vouvray Cuvée Tradition
Gentle quince and pear fruit with wooly and floral touches and a sense of restraint and elegance, there's a steely mineral and acid backbone beneath and this feels incredibly fresh, clear and precise - wonderful stuff.

That works!

I sure am glad it's not supposed to be so hot on Friday though.

Riesling is always good in this heat. Personally, I go for qba. Personally, that's about all I have! :)
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?

Thanks for the note on the 08 Pinon, Salil. Just had my first exposure earlier this month with the 2007. I really liked it and the 2008 sounds like a continuation of a good thing.
