2004 Luneau-Papin Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Le L D'Or
This smells like Chablis yet clearly echoes salt air and seashells. Ample fruit, as well as chalk, salt, stone and mineral dust flow across the palate in an integrated whole. If you place a glass of this wine near your ear you can hear the ocean lapping against a sandy beach. It has not budged since I last tasted it 3 years ago.

Makes it a better investment than a Chablis likely to premox.

This must be one of your 'aging experiements'. You earlier said that Muscadet doesn't age/improve. So are you ready to eat granite yet? Or is the verdict still out?

This wine had not budged, therefore it had not improved. And no, this is not part of a speciic aging experiment. I have no intention of eating granite (or gneiss, or schist for that matter) as the required circumstances have not yet occured.

You might have to wait another 10-15 years for enlightenment :)
