- 2003 Novy Family Wines Syrah Page Nord - USA, California, Napa Valley (5/13/2010)
I am a big fan of the Novy Page Nord. This is a wonderful wine. Not for everybody as the alcohol is very present but it is not overly hot. On the nose you do get the alcohol but there is plenty of red berries to fill it out. A ripe wine but not just a cocktail. Lots of fresh ripe red berries and solid acidity. Works well with food. Not goopy. A sense of jam but medium bodied. A treat and rounding out nicely. I would say drink now. (91 pts.)
