Tried last night w/ my leftover pork kabobs:
1. ClayHouseVnyds Syrah RedCedarVnyd/PasoRobles (14.0%; +Grenache/PS; www.ClayHouseWines.com) RickMiddleton/SanMiguel 2007: Very dark/near black color; strong ripe/boysenberry/blackberry/Syrah/PR jammy some vanilla/oak/toasty bit licorice/smokey juicy pleasant nose; soft/fat/lush ripe/boysenberry/blackberry/Syrah PR jammy/ripe slight licorice/DadsRootBeer light vanilla/oak flavor; med.long ripe/jammy Pr/lush/soft/fat bit alcoholic boysenberry/blackberry/Syrah light pungent/licorice/DadsRootBeer light/vanilla/oak finish w/ light tannins; lots of PR/jammy/juicy character and a bit on the soft/soupy side but a decent Syrah at a fair price. $13.50

Ok, after emailing Tom (I find this), I have been given a bottle of the `05 Hillside Cuvee. A neat blend of P Verdot, CS and Malbec. Should be of interest I think?
