WTN: Trimbach and bubbles

2002 Trimbach Riesling Cuvée Frédéric Emile
This is in an amazing place right now, full of fresh green apple/citrus fruits over an intense stony minerally character, and faint hints of flowers and developing smoky notes around the primary fruit. Incredibly precise, elegant and layered with fantastic length.

N.V. Egly-Ouriet Champagne Brut Tradition Grand Cru
Drinking beautifully now; full of biscuit, toasted almond and rich pear and green apple flavours with lots of power, depth and balance, finishing long and savoury. Absolutely delicious. (Disgorged Nov '07, for those who keep track.)

1998 Deutz Champagne Cuvée William Deutz
Great stuff; incredibly deep and layered with lots of bright fruit, yeasty/biscuit flavours and floral accents, and a spine of really nice acidity keeping it incredibly fresh, precise and beautifully balanced. With air this rounds out a little, developing a lovely creaminess on the back end with emerging toasty and nutty elements, finishing with serious length.

Yep, those 2002 CFE's are good and accessible.
After buying and drinking 1 from S-L, I purchased more and as soon as delivered, quickly sent away to offsite storage, except 1 bottle that I planned then on drinking at least after 6 - 12 months. Couldn't keep my hands off the bottle and drank it the following weekend.

Am I waiting too long on opening one of my 2 bottles of 1995 CFE?
