I recently posted on the '06 Bouchard Bourgogne from this producer, recently acquired by Henriot, and I had purchased a case of the '07 Bourgogne. I opened my first bottle last night, decanted for a few hours, and enjoyed with a "Chicken Caesar's". This wine seemed to be a little further along than the '06, and with more complexity, and a user-friendly 12/5% ABV. The '05 and '03 were a notch better as well. Finished the bottle tonight, with grilled portabello mushrooms and veggies. It was very nice. 88-89 pts. Hope this is a typical bottle. I would think that there is some declassified fruit here, due to the uneven vintage in '07, but don't look a gift horse in the mouth. The new owners (Henriot) might have something to do with it too!
