In particular, Patrick does an excellent job on capturing the inconsistency of CigareVolante (actually all of Randall's wines) over the yrs. I brought the '86 to JohnTomasso's for dinner last Thurs. The bottle was ullaged over 1/3'rd away. It was still a mighty fine wine, though getting a little shakey around the edges...like many of us.
Anyway...a highly-recommended read by Patrick.
