The 2006 and 2007 versions got mostly ratings of 90 or better on CellarTracker (a couple 85 scores on the 2006.) No ratings on CellarTracker yet for the 2008. Normally it is wise to hold on to the WS Pinots until about four years after the vintage. However, I hope the 2008 wine given to you isn't smoke marred. See
http://www.drvino.com/2010/02/02/earth- ... noma-2008/I had the same Hirsch Bohan-Dillon from 2008 described in this article and the smoke was definitely there. I don't know if it affected any Williams Selyem wines or not. I only got three of the 2008 WS wines I ordered because four others had sold out. I have two bottles of the Russian River Valley cuvee, one of the Westside Road Neighbors Pinot Noir and one of the Central Coast Pinot.
