Yes, Abe. Stands for Wine Tasting Note, and it's a convention meant to help our Search Engine find tasting notes vs. other casual mentions of a given wine in this or any other section. Unfortunately, for some odd reason the search engine (which could not search on less than three letters, hence the theoretically redundant 'W') has ceased working on three-letter combinations and requires four, but most of us continue to post our tasting notes this way.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Could you not now search on WTN: to satisfy the four character constraint?

I think that the search will remove any punctuation characters like :, or it may consider that it is a common character and ignore it. There is an option in the search engine that ignores common word, like WTN, as well but Robin could not find out why the forum software could not be told to accept these strings.
