WTN: Gettin' Jolly in bad times

by David M. Bueker » Mon May 03, 2010 9:12 pm

Hey folks - as many know our kitty died the other week, and now my father-in-law is struggling in the hospital, but on Sunday night I opened a bottle to have a glass after dinner. The wine was the 2007 Edmunds St. John Bone Jolly Gamay Noir. It immediately put a smile on my face. It's delicious, and while I don't have the concentration to put all the nuances into words I just wanted to publicly thank Steve Edmunds for making a wine that could bust through all the crap of the last 10 days and make me happy for a minute.

Thanks Steve!

Jolly uber alles! It's a response in the nervous system that reminds us of where we come from, I think!

best

Belated condolences about the kitty, David, and additional sympathies for the FIL. I'm glad to hear that even in the midst of your troubles that a bit of Bone Jolly can help. And kudos to Steve for being the agent of your attitude adjustment! :)
