That's awesome! I have not tasted either of those wines for a while. I'm guessing that they're pretty approachable.

The Casillero del Diablo Carmenere is a decent drink. I've had it in a couple of blind tastings & liked it enough that I would be willing to pick it up for a party or when at a supermarket without my usual options.

I am quite familiar with the Gascon Malbec which is a good solid red that drinks nicely on purchase. The Grill has it on the wine list here in town.

Did you ever get to eat at Chez Quis, Abe?

We drink the Gascon regularly. Not a bad quaffer for about $10.
