Gotta love the power of the 'net (ESJ OH/KY/IN related)

A few days ago, in response to a Facebook post by Steve/ESJ, I commented that I didn't believe his OH/KY/IN distributor was getting behind his brand. Well, I got a nice message from Doris, one of the owners of Vintner Select, asking what I thought they could do to improve the situation. Essentially, I told her that for starters VS could handle more than just 2 of Steve's wines, which was the case at least as of a couple of months ago. They could also at least try to penetrate the Indiana marketplace outside of just Indy and Bloomington. I know that VS has participated in a number of tasting dinners in association with a few Louisville Restaurants, but I have yet to see any ESJ wine promoted at any of these events.
If anyone here has additional thoughts for Doris, give her a call.

I'm not too sure about this.

If we start letting you fly-over people have access to Steve's full range of wines, then there'll be less good stuff for us highly sophisticated bi-coastal elite to enjoy.

If we keep your supply limited, then we'll force you to bring tourist dollars to the west coast to support our elevated standard of living. So we can, you know, afford Steve's wines!
